This wheel-thrown stoneware pitcher is part of the Les anses moches collection.

I wanted the handle to feel slightly awkward, almost disproportionate. A deliberate contrast with the softness and balance of the form. I’m often drawn to pieces that sit somewhere between elegance and clumsiness, where small imperfections create personality and presence.

The transparent iridescent glaze reacts differently on each piece, revealing subtle variations through the firing process.
