This apron skirt is made from a yellow and white checked silk sourced from deadstock fabric.

I liked the idea of giving this material a second life. The wrap construction allows the piece to adapt naturally to the body through simple ties at the waist and hip.

The checked pattern, the fluid silk and the apron-like shape create something both casual and slightly unexpected.
